French donuts

We made beignets this weekend! They are fried fritters that are covered in powdered sugar. Ryan’s brother Sean gave us the mix from Cafe Du Monde as a Christmas gift. We had fun making and eating them, but I don’t think we used nearly enough powdered sugar (see this picture)! Thanks, Sean!

Happy Valentines Day!

We decided to have a homemade Valentines Day – no boxed chocolates, no store bought treats. Instead we worked together to make chocolate-dipped strawberries and chocolate truffles. “And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity” Colossians 3:14.
