Ashleigh’s driving again!

Ashleigh has been home for several weeks and continues to improve. The doctors are still working on correcting her medication dosages and Ashleigh has yet to restart physical therapy, but she’s in good spirits and is able to do more each day. She’s well enough now that she can drive occasionally!

Ashleigh to come home, take four

Walking

When we arrived she was finishing a breathing treatment and getting ready for her splurge lunch, including a plate of onion rings from the cafeteria (she did have cheese cubes [...]

Movin’ on up

Ashleigh is now out of PICU and in her own hospital room! She is very happy, relieved, and tired from the move up to the 6th floor. There is still a lot of physical therapy to do (since she’s been in bed for six months) but she’s steadily making progress.
