Ashleigh can talk again now!! They put a valve in her trach that allows her to talk now. She’s also off the ventilator; in fact, they’ve completely taken it out of her room!
They’re still working on building up her strength. She can sit on the edge of the bed on her own, and sit in a chair on her own, but they still have to help her get from the edge of the bed to the chair. But she’s steadily improving!
