Ryan and I have been paying down our debt using Dave Ramsey’s debt snowball concept. We started by putting some money in emergency savings and then over the last two years we have wiped out all six credit cards; we paid minimum on everything except the lowest balance card and when that was paid off we used that payment on the next card, and so on.
I am thrilled to report that today we paid off my car!!
Ryan’s car will be paid off this fall, then on to the variable rate home equity line of credit (we did an 80/20 loan on our house…big mistake), and then the student loans. And then freedom!
