Our house smells like a bakery! I made homemade bread tonight. And if Aunt Jeri is reading this, yes, I cheated a little by letting the Kitchen Aid do the kneading. 
But I learned my lesson; the mixer alone can’t make it completely smooth and even (as demonstrated by my lopsided loaf). But that’s ok because this is one recipe I don’t mind testing over and over!
