The Farmer’s Almanac says that Indian Summer is a period of warm weather following a cold spell and typically occurs between November 12 and November 20th. Sure enough, we had an Indian Summer this year and it was in the upper 70s to near 80 from November 12th up until November 20th. Consequently we actually had a fall with beautiful leaves! (The picture here was taken by Ryan of a tree in our yard.) But on November 21st it went right back to being cold and all the leaves fell off the trees. And we had our first snow on Thanksgiving night through to the next day. It sure was wonderful while it lasted!
