Sending the Light

Yesterday we sent off our friends Tristan & Leslie Block to mission work in Stirling, Scotland. They will be there for two years through the Helpers In Missions (HIM) Program. They officially leave the States on the 10th, but today was their last day in Wichita so the church prayed over them and then had a luncheon in their honor. Ryan and I have tried to help them as best we can – lessons on how to use their new Mac and helping them to resolve website hosting issues. It is not much, but at least now we can encourage them through video chats!

Make sure to check out their website, The Block Letters.

“After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.” Luke 10:1-3
