Ryan and I have been home for four days now – we really miss Japan and all the friends we made! We have almost readjusted our sleep schedules and still have some unpacking to do, but we’re slowly getting back in the swing of things.
At the End Meeting for the trip we were told about reporting the mission and how important it is – I have been able to talk to more people about Jesus and about God’s work in Japan just because they ask how the trip went! I get to tell them that I studied the Bible with six Japanese people, that I helped out with a vacation Bible school, that I helped run a church camp, and that we were able to visit Tokyo. I was amazed at the number of people at my work who asked about the trip, or who wrote me encouraging emails. This experience has really opened up the door!
